*Wrestling Media on #SpeakingOut*
This isn't directed at fans, nor most of the bigger outlets that at least attempt to convey some form of ethics. More towards those that even follow me hoping to find tips...you'll get plenty in this thread.
Honestly, what's wrong with you?

I know 90% of these outlets' tactics revolve around quickly commenting on something trending in wrestling, hoping that the clickbait headline turns into thousands of clicks. Most of these places won't even pay their writer, which in itself is a joke.
But that's another talk.

We're talking about people's lives and trauma here. #SpeakingOut isn't about slams, promos, and whether or not you like it. A lot of what I've read is embarrassing and shows many of you have no idea what journalism is.
You brush aside the survivors' story only so you can use some famous guys name 10 times for SEO purposes. It's gross, why not respect the stories, take time to research, and present accurate information?
That shouldn't be too much to ask.

Most of the sites are blogs posing as places for journalism, and most of those in wrestling media claiming to be journalists are bloggers who don't care to learn anything about ethics in journalism.
You're not journalists, stop using the term. It's insulting.

#SpeakingOut is going to change a lot in wrestling, at least at the independent level. If you're going to make money covering these wrestlers performing, at least bother to help make it a safe environment for them.
