Some Takeaways:
- Not a new thought, but Junior Slam success DOES NOT guarantee success in the pros
- Fascinating to see who the top juniors were from '05-'12, and how many failed to crack the Top 100 in either singles or doubles during their pro careers
- Scoville Jenkins ☹️
- Many of the #NextGenATP guys leading the way (Zverev, Coric, Tsitsipas, etc) WERE top juniors as well, and perhaps why that's why so many tennis fans (myself included) are so excited about their upside
- My personal favorite is '15, but '03, '13, and '14 were all excellent
- Too early to judge the '17-'19 US Opens and the event's participants, though 2018 champ Thiago Seyboth Wild has already won an ATP Singles Title
- Understandable, but crushing not to have this event this year
