Number "1" has 📉 demand elasticity. This may explain Quibi's current trouble.

We can only tolerate so many distractions. There's infinite substitutes for entertainment, sensationalism, dopamine hits.

This category includes streaming services, games, digital entertainment.
Number "2" has 📈 demand elasticity. It may also compete with continued education, social clubs, corporate networking.

Certain newsletters may improve or outright replace certain social or professional functions.

Example: some of the best newsletters are communities.
