I actually want to use this story as a reminder for my Americans friends that Sciences Po is NOT the "liberal enclave" in France as y'all love to picture it. As far as I'm concerned, there have been numerous instances of Sciences Po taking part in similar acts of bigotry (i.e. homophobic slurs in a prevention campaign against AIDS in 2017 and the students involved PROUDLY assumed responsibility for this)
Not to mention that guy from QC who did an exchange there and his professors told him to stop speaking French québécois cause it made him "sound poor"
Sciences Po has been & remains an institution deeply rooted in white supremacy and very much reflects the reality of racial issues in France and Western Europe in general: we ARE NOT any better than the U.S. or Canada!!
(not as important as my previous points but since not many of y'all know about this, please be aware a year at Sciences Po is approximately €10,700 for undergrad and €14,700 for grad school LMFAO)
