I’m still shook by Kearney’s sacking. As Warriors fans the ride is rough but the 2 wins from 4 after the restart have been decent. Truthfully I expected them to collapse, playing under such tough conditions.

I didn’t like the new management after the way they treated Shaun - a player who was the face of the team and attracted thousands of kids to the club. They didn’t even give him a proper farewell. It was heartless.

How are these actions supposed to enhance the culture at the Warriors? They are saying everyone is dispensable. There is no respect.
I understand it’s a business but money and winning at all costs isn’t what builds a club culture that I want to be a part of.

My best memories at Mt Smart are Price / Wiki farewell, 2011 GF fan day, members events, Mannering 300... all times that centre around players, celebrating their achievements.
Yes they’re doing their job but they ride the Warriors wave with us. Culture is more than winning.

Do I want to see the Warriors win? Of course. But I can’t endorse winning at all costs. We have never played dirty.
