This particular statue was made by Vladimír Kýn of Hořovice, between Prague and Pilsen, and it stood in a steel mill there between 1957 and early 1990s. It was discarded as trash, got to an Austrian dude, and he sold it to the commies for EUR 16k in an Internet auction.
At any rate, the contemporary West is destroying statues of Washington, Columbus, Grant, and many others, and erecting statues of defective tyrants and muzhiks like Lenin.
