One big thing I took away from last night was the overall organization and effort of the team. Players were rarely caught out of position and when they did someone was always on them about it to drill it in them to prevent it happening again. You also saw players like Son who
normally rarely get back getting back and putting in shifts. You can tell Jose is implementing his philosophy of structured football into the team and the players respect his plan and authority. A level of work rate was there that we didnt see in the final months of the Poch era
These players clearly respect him and are willing to play for him and respect what hes trying to implement. It will only get better as Jose makes adjustments and tweaks, players like GLC and Tanguy return to full fitness, players like Son and Kane get sharper, and signings happen
