I saw that some of y'all called Asuma a FRAUD because he was killed by Hidan
In case you've forgotten let me remind how it all went down!

First of all,only few ninjas would go toe to toe with hidan and come out alive. He was dumb but quite strong!
Dude was a fvcking immortal...he might even still be alive under the ground he got sliced and buried in till now!

"but Asuma didn't fight him alone"
Asuma was the only jonin in the team alongside 3 chuunin level shinobis against 2 S-ranked immortal duo of the akatsuki.
He also knew next to nothing about the people they were facing. They were sent on that mission with no freaking Intel!

He knew the chuunin in his team would get killed if they attempted engaging these guys so to prevent that,he used Shikamaru's shogi formation in which he was the only offensive fighter in the formation.

The role kotetsu and Izumo had to play was to pull a surprise attack on Hidan while he was engaged with Asuma. Shikamaru had to be in the rear of the formation because he had to be protected, he can't use his shadow possession if he's getting attacked so they had to shield him.

Let's not forget the fact that he actually did cut off Hidans head despite all that until Kakuzu interfered sewing Hidan's head back onto his body whilst also landing some attacks on a fairly injured Asuma.

Asuma didn't die because he was a fraud,he died because he had no Intel on the enemy before hand and also because he had people to protect while engaging them. The whole thing was a gamble in which he sadly lost.

Even with the Intel they got from the Asuma fight, it still took quite a lot before they got to seal Hidan.
People are only calling Asuma a FRAUD because they underrate Hidan's strength!
