I'd really like it if people "on my side" could stop pitching me against other scientists, particularly female scientists.

It's unhelpful, to say the least.

I have had very constructive conversations with @RebeccaRHelm, which I hope we will build on.

You're not "with me" if you think it's remotely appropriate to dig out her email and shout at her.

You're not "with me", in fact you're actively working against me, to force someone like Alice Roberts to block me.

I have never invited a block from Dr Roberts. I was, I think, gracious in her take down of me, preferring a "high road" in the hope that this would foster an environment of dialogue.

There has been no interaction between her and I since she undermined my argument and linked to my institute page (200+ emails of me being a "cunt", a "terrible scientist", a "disgrace to my institute").

Leave it.

There *are* scientists who want to talk about this. We are finding a way.

Don't mirror what your enemies do.
