meditation is not nearly as good as remembering you are an animal. Practicing exhaustion is preferable to practicing serenity. Going hungry is more divine than fasting.
vaguely against meditation because it is more sitting. Everyone has lots of sitting. People on the whole will be better when they have a more embodied doing.

There is a joy to the opposite of meditation, to being so unselfconscious in doing a task that you become an animal again
Yes! Meditation is too safe. It is the netflix of spirituality. Go outside! Ache! https://twitter.com/ollybot_browne/status/1274412479347658752
I think some amount of discomfort is very compelling. Saunas, trail running, working out until exhaustion, walking around barefoot in the snow.

Crawl on the ice water, remember that you are an animal. It doesn't have to be extreme, it should feel good.

This is not about med. per se but my take against ppl who say "have you considered [placebo adderall]?" when others ask for advice.

I disagree with that approach. Most people would be happier getting up and out first, rediscovering their bodies first, before applying mind stuff.
This is true for (most) nutrition advice too. I think before crafting any kind of diet plan or tackling body image, it is useful to try to become an animal again. Go hungry and work at a task, feel that you embody something physical that is your own making, this body of yours.
