I wanna get ahead of this before the shit hits the fan now that it's commonplace to believe everything you hear on podcasts. In 2016, I made a very insensitive comment regarding sex robots. I claimed that "the best way to drain the cum out of a sex robot is to throw it in rice."
While I have no experience with sex robots, nor their experiences, of which I can never understands the depths of, I was simply just trying to throw out some made up information to get a laugh. It is now apparent more than ever that the joke is on me.
It was wrong of me to then assume that if people had been aware of this sex robot "fact" years ago, perhaps Radio Shack could have stayed in business. I now see that this could have been misconstrued as minimizing the dorks who worked at Radio Shack and I am truly sorry.
I have begun scouring LinkedIn for resumes including Radio Shack employees to open a dialogue and learn from them. So far, every one of them I have contacted thus far has been rightfully dismissive, saying things like, "What the fuck are you talking about?"...and...
"You should really find something better to do with your time"...and..."Did Geoff put you up to this? Haha I'm gonna fuckin' kill him."
Above all else, I would likely to sincerely apologize to the sex robot community. In no way did I set out to be offensive to the cum robotics industry. Please believe me when I say that I now see that I just had a few wires crossed.
I truly believe that we could and should learn from our mistakes to move the conversation forward and allow those with spooge-soaked pussy bots to find the help they need. Thank you and namaste.
