Can Green Party members please stop attacking funding for cycling in the process of talking negatively about the #PfG? Cycling infra is essential to making our roads safer for people. It makes cycling a safe and comfortable option for more than just the brave. It’s climate action https://twitter.com/liamquaide/status/1274371154933932033
We’ll ignore the fact the housing issues in this country aren’t funding related. They are ideological.

The increased cycling budget is from reducing the roads budget or the carbon fund. Reducing spent on polluting and damaging cars should align with Green politics
It looks agonising for many Green members to decide how #PfG. It’s not an easy choice.

They could have that debate without rubbishing walking and cycling funding, which would bring benefits to public health, communities, social accessibility, quality of life or climate action.
