“When Osman Ghazi met Mevlana Rumi”
Ala'din Kayqubad who was the Seljuk Sultan organised a feast for the purpose of declaring his spiritual master. Ertuğrul Ghazi was present amongst the Turkmen Beys, and Mevlana Rumi was also there amongst the group of Scholars.

Mevlana Rumi left the assembly because of some issues. While descending from the stairs of the palace, he came across 15 year old Osman Ghazi who accompanied his father Ertuğrul for the feast.

When Osman saw that a scholar is coming his way, he moved to the side and lowered his head.
The reverence shown by Osman earned the attention of of Mevlana Rumi, "Young boy, who are you?
Osman replied,
"I am Osman, son of Ertuğrul Bey leader of the Kayi Tribe"

Osman went for a walk with Mawlana Rumi and he took him to his mosque. Osman worn a Sufi turban and thobe. All the disciples of Rumi formed a circle with Osman to prepare for a Dhikr Gathering.

After they recited Fatiha, Mevlana Rumi raised his hands for Dua and said to Osman:
"I took the Sultanate of Islam from the Seljuks and I give it to you, be blessed!
18 + 18 = 36, and this is the number of Sultans which will come from your generation"

Osman Ghazi who was just 15 was flabbergasted and didn't know how to react.
Since the Turks accepted Islam from the Sufis, they embraced the supreme religion with Sufism, and established the state under the guidance of the Sufis of their time.
