Thread – An Amalgamation of Comments from Vietnam-era Warriors
1. I have been honored to have been included in a brotherhood of decorated Vietnam-era aviators and warriors for some time although I missed that war (too young).
1. I have been honored to have been included in a brotherhood of decorated Vietnam-era aviators and warriors for some time although I missed that war (too young).
2. For their own reasons, they seem to like my threads and articles, and I am eternally grateful to be included in their circle.
3. We regularly converse and exchange perspectives on national and international affairs. All are aghast at the rampant lawlessness and anarchy being spread by #Dementiacdrats, their violent arms Antifa and BLM, and their willing accomplices in the legacy media.
4. Here is an amalgamation of some recent commentary on current events that will resonate with you. Some of these guys are in their 80s and still stoke the fires of American patriotism within themselves. Read on…
5. We must work overtime to spread the truth of our struggle and history to EVERY child in this land, since the public schools and media have failed at doing so.
6. And the very FIRST lesson, must be – the patriots of this country do not kneel, give up, or give in, to bullying from ANYONE, regardless of race, color, or creed (or stupid personal opinion!).
7. It is time to crack heads of those caught up in the fervor of this moment in history, in their own selfish interests of anarchy/communism! We ARE willing to fight, and die, for our country – and those who would destroy us must be made to understand that, unequivocally!
8. I pulled out the Operator’s Manual to my LWRC AR-15 (5.56 mm). Wanted to refresh myself on its operation…just to make sure. Bottom line: I am tired of hearing the lie that America is racist. I am tired of hearing the constant complaining of how hard it is to live in America.
9. There’s a difference between US citizens...and real patriotic Americans. We are real patriotic Americans and have the scars to prove it. I have three (ARs) – “just to make sure!”, and an abundance of scars, should they need counting.
10. The racist mantra is working. What with all this Antifa and BLM BS, I am also increasingly offended by the overwhelming representation of blacks in TV commercials, sports, entertainment, and in poorly-managed positions of authority in city/state government and the military.
11. I feel preached to and talked down to – and its effect on me is palpable. My knee doesn’t bend. If someone were to accuse me of being racist, right now, I’m afraid my answer would be, “So what? It is OK for you to hate me, but I have to sit still and take it?
12. You got another think coming, asshole! Assholes come in all shapes, sizes, and colors and, if you ARE one who just happens to be black, don’t expect me to say, “Oh – you’re BLACK – you can’t BE an asshole!”
13. The communists/muslims/anarchists are obviously pushing for a “civil/race war”, and I’m at a point where, if it’s going to be, let’s get it on!
14. Let’s get the violent subset of the 13% black population plus the large fraction of idiot snowflake whites up against real, committed patriots, and clear the air!
15. I’ll stand with my fellow patriots, and die if I must but, at 82, I’m highly motivated, and I have little future to lose which I’ll gladly sacrifice for the cause of liberty and freedom for my kids, grandkids, and great-grands! “Don’t tread on me – asshole!”
16. [Shifting gears slightly to the seditious comments publicly made by retired flag and general officers lately:] I cannot seem to let this subject go because I believe it has mighty import to our military, including IMHO, ….
16A. … a bunch of whining Academy grads among many in the press, opposition parties, outspoken military men and to me personally. Military should not comment publicly on policy. This includes the John Kerry kind of stunts, pretending to be anti-war.
17. If I were currently serving (and I am subject to UCMJ as a retiree in some ways), I would want the circumstances and the Chain of Command clear such that I might know a lawful order when I hear it.
18. In my case, I take a firm view because I do, and because there is so much “gray” unpunished behavior in high circles, like the Clinton antics and the recent treasonous behavior of various agencies mostly pointing back at Obama attempting to destroy Trump.
19. Hate Trump all you want (I support the First Amendment, unlike Antifa and BLM and some Democrats), but be careful (I say to myself) of what is in the UCMJ.
20. End of their commentary. The preceding is just the tip of the iceberg; they weigh in daily. It is comforting to know that such men still exist all over the country.
21. When these men were young, they answered their country’s call and served valiantly and honorably in a war that the Left have subsequently used to undermine and destroy the country.
22. Upon their return, they were publicly chastised by the snowflakes of their era, as well as by the gutless #Dementiacrats and their media allies. The snowflakes rioting in the streets these days have nothing of the intestinal fortitude, courage, and honor of these men!
23. The snowflakes have never known a scintilla of the adversity, pain, and anguish that these patriotic Americans faced.
24. But are there enough to fill their shoes when they are gone? I have to think that those who served in America’s wars since them are made of the same metal. There is considerable evidence confirming that.
25. And that there are more of us who are like-minded than the fraction of criminals being endlessly paraded by the legacy media as they riot and cause mayhem and destruction in Democrat-run cities across the land. We’re going to find out soon whether that is true.
