Hey guess what? Content creators don't owe you anything. We are BLESSED to live in a world where so many artists make amazing things for us to enjoy. We are blessed that some of those artists can even make a living off it. (Though that one needs work)
Is it their job? Yea sure. But that doesn't mean that you, specifically, are entitled to it. Let's talk #dragonage, in particular, since DA is what this handle is for. (I could share a dozen screenshots from irl to back this up but I'm not willing to out myself here yet)
When you get hundreds of thousands of fans, even one half of one percent being actively terrible is a huge number of shitty comments. And then there's another percent or two of demanding fans. What the devs can give is never enough. That gets so so old.
And you know what? They don't owe you shit. You're angry the game is taking a long time? They're working on it and want to give you the best final product they can. The more they rush, the less satisfied you'll be so just... Learn some patience. Read some fanfic. Read the books.
Angry the books have stuff that's not in the game and you have to pay for them? Angry you have to pay for the dlc to get extra plot? ...what did you expect to be in those things, air? Of course they're going to have plot. Of course they're going to have lore. Otherwise... Why?
Why bother adding to the main franchise if it doesn't actually... Add anything? You don't want to pay for it, I get that. But let me counter. The artists who made them deserve to get paid. They put in tens/ hundreds/ thousands of hours to make this thing you spent $10-20 on.
Don't like it?

Don't buy it.

Don't go messaging the people who made it telling them their work isn't worth that. That's rude af.
