The ability to infiltrate and hijack a transformative social movement, then repackage a contaminated discourse to disseminate it through demands for reforms, gives specific political interest groups an edge in the competition to control future directions of culture change.

b. seek to gain power, but their ideologies are unpalatable to already existent activist structures;
c. exploit existent conflicts and power structures on all sides, for their own gain.

2. A quick semiotic analysis identified specific structures within a larger system of meanings denoting discourse contamination.
Ex: some core beliefs of a group identifying as leftist are corrupted by "Trojan horse" constructs, concealing contradictory ideologies.

3. The current #libertarian discourse in the US posits that the only way to prevent the "deadly undermining of civilization" is by applying libertarian principles in daily life, as well as in political/economic organization of society: small government & free market capitalism.
4. Yet, despite framing libertarianism as the savior of civilization, its popularity remains low among Americans, making it difficult to diffuse the #libertarian message of salvation, or mobilize support among grassroots organizations and marginalized communities.
5. However, #libertarian ideology is embraced by wealthy, powerful billionaires and other wealthy and well connected individuals. These actors consistently interfere with political and social processes, in an effort to compel culture change in the libertarian direction.
6. Adopting libertarianism erases the possibility of guaranteed rights, of social and economic equity, and of environmental justice. Because of these realities, #libertarian think tanks shaped their public image and discourses to appeal to leftist and racially diverse audiences.
7. Anchored in some commonalities with leftist thought, #libertarian discourses are thus concealed within social justice initiatives, through which the history and ideology of the libertarian movement is rewritten as anti-racist, anti-oppression, anti-violence, pro-"reimagining".
8. [Re]imagining the future of our society is a consistent theme in #libertarian social justice #doublespeak; however, since libertarianism is the ideology of extreme #individualism, it lacks the foundation to build the solidarity needed for transformative social movements.
9. Because of these lacunae, proponents of #libertarian futures are unable to provide viable strategies, or clear models to support their claims of universal freedom and community building. That's why there are no answers to "what about the rapists?" "who will solve murders?"
10. #libertarian forms of #justice calls for the "the abolition of the public state institutions" and replacing them with purchasing services from "private providers, like private courts, private police, private counselors". #Crime will be addressed by ... insurance agencies.
11. Thus, unless you're wealthy, or the "community" is willing to fund your recovery/ quest for justice, there will be no closure. Some #DefundThePolice "experts" can't answer questions about the way they reimagine #justice, since answering may reveal its individualistic nature.
