It’s interesting watching Righties respond to a radical moment because Righties don’t understand radical moments, so both smart and stupid Righties think about copying the part they see. It’s diagnostic of our problems!
Example: one idea I have seen Righties floating on Twitter (bc Righties never just quietly take steps to *do* stuff, they publicly announce it for discussion and hope it happens) is to put masses of people around the statues. Passive defense.

b) monitoring local protests and noting nearby monuments, meaning keeping up with local radical groups
c) training, comms, bail funds, jail support

This still requires the ability to coordinate large crowds. You may have noticed that Righties *kind of suck* at this. Literally the only groups who can do it reliably with really big groups are the pro-life and pro-gun crowds.
You can bus crowds in and out for direct action stuff but the locals are not gonna be happy about it and they have no reason to accommodate you bc they know you will go away.

The people who’d be upset to see the FDR Memorial wrecked are liberals. Maybe they’d get “oh no this is going to far” concerns and it’d drive a wedge between them and the Hard Lefties.

You don’t get sustainable direct action without structures. Lefties took a long long long time to learn this. Go focus on building community.
