I have a some general questions - preferably for lawyers and constitutional experts.

If the government continues with an action that shows no discernible benefit to the country - and goes wholly against previous proclamation,

And does so WITHOUT parliamentary approval,
Such as NOT seeking a transition extension

Is it in contempt?

If the government enters into contract or treaty with a foreign power to the known determent of the people,

And again, without parliamentary scrutiny,

Is this a legal action?

Do they cease to have legitimacy?
If a government fails to assemble a required body,

Such as the Intelligence and Security Committee,

In a timely fashion, such that it negatively affects the security of the nation,

Does this make them illegitimate as a government?

Or is this a treasonable issue?
Does failure to uphold the ministerial code with regard to its own ministers make the government illegitimate?

Clearly, I am thinking of Robert Jenrick (and Boris Johnson for that matter) here.
In essence - given all the foul actions taken by the Johnson administration, is there justification for calling of dissolution of the administration.

If there isn't - is all behaviour of the government beyond law and reliant solely on the integrity of government?
