As a noona army who has never lived in the same space for more than 2 years for the past 10 years, I just wanna share some valuable life tips to those who wanna live the independent life.

A thread.
1. Learn to let go of rubbish and just declutter. Declutter regularly. If you know you're not gonna be staying in one place for at least 2 years, keep your belongings to a minimum.
2. Learn how to pack your belongings in an organised fashion. You need this especially if you will be hiring removalists and we never know what level of manhandling they will do to your stuff.
3. When moving out, keep an inventory of all your belongings before they get picked up by the removalists. Count how many boxes or bags you got. It's not fun but it will save you from getting your stuff stolen.
4. When renting an apartment, NEVER SETTLE FOR JUST CHEAP RENT. If you can afford a bit more for comfort, TRUST ME IT IS WORTH IT. Your home is a place where you should feel at ease and if it is then your money is worth it.
5. If you share a lease with one or more people, make sure you agree on your house rules and how you split costs and shared amenities even before moving in.

I cannot stress more on this. I have been in the middle of 2 housemates fighting over bills and it's not pretty.
6. Learn how to give or take with your housemates. Always have common courtesy towards them even if you don't like them. Things like asking them if they're ok with you bringing friends over or offering to help clean if you see them cleaning can go a long way.
7. If you got beef with your housemates and you got common friends, just dont talk about it for heavens sake. Word spreads FAST. Talk about it with idk your parents? Coworkers? Someone who doesnt know them?
