Viewing our neighbor as an enemy instead of a potential brother or sister is a disease.
By far the most deadly symptom of this disease is apologetics taking precedent over discipleship. This is WHY JPII called for a New Evangelization. We have placed "being right" over "being in relationship".
So, ok, yeah be sad. But don't blame "the liberals". Take a look at how you can share the truth of Christ by walking in His Beauty and Goodness. How can you change the way you present the Lord in your sphere of influence?
