If by " @KevinMKruse history" you mean "the standard version of events chronicled in great detail by actual historians over a half century," then ... yes? https://twitter.com/DineshDSouza/status/1274333692396212224
This is what he's in shock about.
Again, D'Souza apparently never took a single course in US history in college, so a lot of this stuff comes as a *total* surprise to him.

I can't stress how old this literature is.
Here are the footnotes. The Sherman book, which makes up the bulk of this, came out in 1973. Weiss came in 1983. Lisio in 1985.
If D'Souza had attended a US history class in the mid-1980s, he'd have heard all this before.

Here's a thread I did on the "lily white" movement -- a thread that was prompted by, you guessed it, @DineshDSouza dodging a question about it at a Q&A.
I guess that was because he'd never heard of it? Because he never took a US history class? Probably. https://twitter.com/KevinMKruse/status/1133744660978065409

As for the charge that the House page there is part of an effort to cover up the role Democrats played in establishing and spreading segregation, well, the page *right* before that one detailed Southern Democrats' role at length.
Again, the idea that political historians haven't written *extensively* about Southern Democrats as the driver of segregation is ludicrous.
We've written countless books and articles on it, and stressed it repeatedly on Twitter. https://twitter.com/KevinMKruse/status/991131181444943872

Most bizarrely, @DineshDSouza keeps insisting that "progressive textbooks" somehow cover up this basic fact from US History 101.
I've repeatedly offered examples of ones that state it clearly; he's never given an example of one that hides it. https://twitter.com/KevinMKruse/status/1024060067161808898

I'm not sure why @DineshDSouza keeps feeling the need to remind us that he doesn't know the slightest thing about the field of American history, the extensive literature on it, or the ways in which it's been taught, but if he wants to embarrass himself further, that's his right.
