For the ppl who are extremely angry that they didn't learn about Junteenth day in school, understand a couple of things.

1. Legislation (Eman Proc & 13th amendment) will always be taught over when the last state decided to stop being dicks.
2. History curriculum voids a lot of information due to time constraints. And like it or not, major wars, eras, and legislation are priority.

3. Juneteenth is a special day. Maybe you should be outraged. Is it more important than the Eman Proc or 13th am? I don't think so.
Last side note. Before you become outraged, think back to your time in history class.

How much did you actually pay attention to the African American history your teachers did teach you?

I'm guessing a lot less than you are acting like you know today.
