-Fathers, speaking as a daughter, I urge you- love your kids. Not only say you love them, but show them your love, and let your actions speak love to them. Just shower them with love! Because when you grow up KNOWING a father's love, it's so much easier to understand GOD'S love.
-If a kid grows up without the safety of knowing that their earthly father loves them, it can be much harder for them to grasp God's love in their lives, as they grow up - and it can take a lot longer until they finally realize that they can truly trust God.
-For that kid, coming to realize The Father's love for them is possible, but it can truly be a journey, and a progress of renewing your mind to realize- "Yes, my Father God DOES love me, and I can trust Him!" But it can take a while, and sometimes, a miracle.
-Maybe their earthly dad was absent, or he was abusive, or maybe their relationship just felt kind of distant- but kids who grow up not knowing a father's love are often unable to grasp God's love as easily as others. Some get into trouble trying to fill that empty hole inside.
-Maybe you were that kid, or maybe you grew up knowing that your dad really loved you. What ever the case may be, don't wait until it's too late to give your child the father's love they so desperately need. It's one of the most important things in a kid's life.
-Even if you're starting late, you CAN still make a difference in your kid's life. This Father's Day weekend, take time to let your kids know you love them. Tell them that they're precious to you, and just shower them with love! Spend time with them, be kind to them.
-Let all you do be done in love. Remember, the words you speak to your kids are very important - they shape your kid's life. So let your words be words of life, love, and kindness. Above all, let your actions of love reflect and point them to The Father God's love. #FathersDay
