My tryst with writing long form content is a old one.

It started with writing for the official blog of Cars24 & continued with PayU. I have been meaning to pick it up for a while

So, Post 1 on my substack is up & I am excited to share it. A 🧵 on writing and post 1!
Writing is a great way to get clarity of thoughts. You truly understand something once you write about it.

Great writing is triggered by great discussions. For me great discussions have been long chats over coffee. Don't like the drink, but love the coffee shop vibe
So naturally I named the Substack, 'Coffee Context'

Coming to the first post

I had a hard time choosing the first topic. A great first topic came to mind, it sits at the intersection of the topics of strategy, fitness & start-ups

So post 1 is: CureFit's Search for a Tribe!
I have been a fan of @BeCureFit since they launched. They take a lot of learnings from @CrossFit and leverage tech. and capital to scale it up

It also is built to maximise the LTV of members by selling everything from sportsgear to food/beverages to doctor consultations. But..
I believe it lacks the one key component that will help it scale in a sustained manner to profit and growth, which is a strong community.

Why do I think that? and what can Curefit do? Do read on here: https://coffeecontext.substack.com/p/1-curefits-search-for-a-tribe
Do subscribe to "CoffeeContext". I will try to post once a week on the topics of startups, strategy, SMBs & mental models. Would love to hear your comments

A shout out to @vivekraju93 who runs a great substack, Simplanations which had me itching to write again
On a side note, @SubstackInc is a great platform for publishing content. Looking to make it the home for all my long form content! Happy reading to you all!
