We need to have a conference podcast with leaders in different movements/political sides to come together and meet weekly to discuss. It should be live, it should have a moderator, and it should have breaks to settle tension. The trust im seeing is unreal..
Podcasts are cool, but it's a lot of echo chambers that talk about other groups and issues with a safe level of agreement comfort that nudge their internal temperature on issues. But rarely are these groups actually talking to each other.
So assumptions are made, gaps are in place, and takeaways are either "wow I disagreed with this very much and I'm going to share and tell others why" or "this made me feel more right, look at this", but the actual consensus on the issue across the board barely moves...
.And actually takes a huge amount of energy to happen. We need dialogue from these voices we listen to within our groups by having them talk to EACH OTHER.
