1. Autistic employees should be exempt from hot-desking.
2. #Autistic employees should be provided with either a fan or heater depending on their needs.
3. #Autistic employees should be consciously exempted from social aspects of a job without being penalised in any way.
4. #Autistic employees should be allowed to work from home if possible.
5. #Autistic employees should have the lighting in their work space tested and modified if inappropriate.
6. #Autistic employees should be invited to speak during meetings rather than having to organically find a window to speak in.
7. Non-autistic employees and managers should be given mandatory training on autism delivered by #Autistic trainers.
8. #Autistic employees should have more relaxed dress codes - especially those involving ties, uncomfortable shoes and tight fitting clothing.
9. #Autistic employees must be protected from bullying behaviour from peers and managers by clear, specific policies.
10. #Autistic employees should be given clear, non-ambiguous instructions at all times.
11. #Autistic employees should receive praise and criticism that is clear, unambiguous and in writing.
12. #Autistic employees should not be subjected to unnecessary anxiety, such as being told on Friday that they have a disciplinary meeting on Monday.
