Enes Kanter is a member of a secretive, dangerous and power-hungry cult. That cult infiltrated every part of the Turkish state and destroyed countless lives through subterfuge and lies.

This isn’t even an AKP thing. A likely majority of Turkey is now critical of this government. That’s nothing special.

But Kanter’s cult was their friend until they fell out. And they used their power to destroy the lives of anyone who stood in their way.

When ignorant US politicians take the blood money and defend this cult, they leave true Turkish democrats in a really difficult position.

We criticize the AKP but the alternative will never be the people who abused power to upend and destroy the lives of their enemies.
