RoA character weaknesses/strengths explained in tweet format, ordered from personal strongest to weakest:
Wrastor has the best movement with slipstream, and the 2nd best recovery. He can pressure offstage extremely safely and has full access to 7 aerials. His aerials are hard to DI because of angle flippers and slipstream speed, but if you get out he dies very early
Ori has the best aerial speed in the game, with uair/nair stage carrying and leading into bash anywhere (di dependent). They have like, the 5th worst recovery in the game with somewhat poor onstage kill options. They also die at 70%
Absa has the best combo game in the air bar none, as well as stage control to extend some of those combos or start one in some positions. She has the strongest spike in the game, and the best recovery. She can be exploited in neutral, bc her dj isn't fast and her projectile sloww
Clairen has the most onstage 0-death strings in the game. Tipper freeze leads to so many guaranteed follow-ups, and she can kill extremely early with uair->uair tipper. Her edgeguarding is also pretty busted. She has a pretty bad recovery tho, 7th best, and her neutral is mid-bad
Etalus has the best edgeguarding in the game with icicles, and the best grounded movement. He also has really good stage carry ability, which leads into edgeguards that work around 60% on the whole cast (0% for fors). He has a good recovery, but he's big and heavy.
Maypul has the fastest dash, and a frame-perfect infinite. She also has really early kills and strong follow-ups using tether and her speed. She has the 2nd worst recovery and has to camp lily to get value out of her at a high level. She has slow aerials to break disadvantage
Kragg (i know this is overestimation) has the most complex neutral options in the game. Rock forces unique stage control situations, and the possibility of shards dominates neutral when it's out. His edgeguarding is top tier. He heavy and mid-tier recovery and slow neutral tho
Ranno has the sickest edgeguards in the game, and really good frame data on half of his moves. Utilt/Ftilt/Dair really hold him back, and at a high level tongue is likely just his best parry punish. He also has a mid-tier recovery and his combos/edgeguards are often escapable
Zetter has the fastest moves in the game, and pretty high speed. He can string together a lot of moves, and use consume-ustrong to kill people off the top plats at RIDICULOUS percents. He has a decent recovery, but he loses to strong disjoint and his offstage disadvantage is bad
Orcane has dtilt and dstrong and bair and then a bunch of pretty good moves. He can edgeguard high recoveries with ease, and can score early kills with ustrong techchases. The 3rd worst recovery really holds him back, and his disadvantage is abysmal. Getting hit is death
Elliana has strong combo tools, and a complex tree of options due to how her stance-change mechanic and mine interact. She has the 3rd best recovery in the game, but her disadvantage is really bad onstage and if she's overheated her recovery becomes the worst or 2nd worst
