As you’re aware Australia has recently announced that many of their government websites have been hacked by China.

China takes information warfare very very seriously. Much more seriously than any other country in the world.
They realised early on that the new age weapons of mass destruction are not bombs and missiles. It’s easy to spread chaos in any country simply by click of a mouse.
The people in the global intelligence community know that Chinese army is one the prime sponsors of cyber terrorism of all types and sizes.

They not only train their own but in also train cyber terrorists from North Korea, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and of course Pakistan.
These sophisticated cyber warehouses look like any giant BPO or call centre where thousands of young kids work in shifts developing computer viruses, malware, propaganda games, apps, and millions of news and video websites.
They work on two fronts.

One on a military grade, where they hack and attack government installations - like your nuclear and other power plants, banking and financial systems, stock markets, your citizen databases etc.
Second front is a public front - creating millions of social media profiles, pages, apps, games, websites in multiple languages. This is what must concern directly you.
You never know that the person who you interacting on social media thinking she’s Poonam Sinha (fictional name) from Bihar - a hardcore hindutwa supporter and Ram bhakt - can be Sadiq from Pakistan trained by one such warehouses of PLA!
Or Subhash Chandela (fictional name) claiming to be a RaGa fan and Congressi can be Lou sitting in Wuhan spreading Marxist propaganda.

So much for ecosystems!
As per regular reports by Russian antivirus maker Kaspersky more than 65% of viruses and malware are developed in China.

Agencies like RAW, CIA, MI6, and Mossad are well aware of this issues but they’re still playing catch-up to this mighty Chinese machine.
Just like manufacturing, they have invested heavily in manufacturing these factories of lies and deceit with lot of money and skilled labour.
It’s time for Indian software and military might to come forward and create a counter cyber terrorism network to fight China and its shadow armies.

This is long-long overdue and we must address this before it becomes another pandemic.

Astu!
