The process of choosing who to marry, is where actually parenting begins. It’s important to understand why someone intends to marry and why you also want to marry. That is what will create true partnership in parenting. So careful selection and for the right purpose.
The quality of the partner you choose will in many ways affect your child’s behavior. The genetic make up, any heriditary issues are resolved at this stage. There are pre disposing factors on the genetic make up of person that contribute to his or her behavior in future. Caution.
The environment of the home which the nurturing environment matters and contributes greatly to the child’s future personality. You can not create a good home without a good partner. The home environment is borne from a mutual understanding you are in these for true Love.
True love is borne from a genuine understanding of Allah’s love. When you love Allah sincerely, you learn to love rightly. You do not get obsessed, but you are able to love while you are emotionally independent and also value your partners space and you get to feel worthy too.
A child born into such an environment becomes a beautiful symbol of love and care. When you introduce Allah to the child it should be on the basis of Allah’s love. The child tends to build his or her genuine relationship with Allah based on love and not blind obedience and resent
If a child develops signs of deviance or misconduct and you try all means to remedy but it fails. Then do not also beat or blame yourself there are conditions that are beyond your control. Even the ambiyya were tested trough their children. Make the best of it and move on.
Do not loose yourself in process of nurturing children. Allah knows what effort you make and you will be rewarded for always doing the right thing. Allah is just and you will never carry the sins of another person. The key is just do the right thing always and the rest for Allah.
