The outrage is against Nepotism but imo the outrage should be about undeserving people getting chance over deserving people who are talented should be promoted whether they're a product of nepotism or not.
You can't blame them for having it easy because that's what every privileged person would do. Provide a platform to their loved ones but their survival depends on how good they are. People have rejected actors who belonged to big filmy families.
It gets ugly only when opportunities are snatched, lobbying is done. When powerful people try to sabotage the careers of non-privileged because of the fear of them surpassing their success.
Never forget those who r privileged had a non-privileged root. They're here only cuz their non-privileged ancestors worked really to give them a platform. They were outsiders when they started. Eventually people become successful and they do their best to help their loved ones.
We have outsiders who are non-talented and don't deserve a chance but they keep films because of their strong connections. Imo they're stealing opportunities from someone who really fit that role. We all know such outsiders.
The battle should be about undeserving vs deserving. Talent should be promoted no matter what. Opportunities should come equally to everyone irrespective of their background.
