I'll write something about the NDFA process on what we experienced (I'll leave the hot takes for y'all), but it was fun to experience it on this side of the webcam.

Players grilling me about player plans, the future, technology, etc. Kids care.

And we in PD have to as well.
Had kids saying "if I throw harder I will increase carry and reduce run" and starting a conversation around h/v-breaks. If you can't have an intelligent talk with the kid about basic pitch physics data, and you're up against other teams... well, hope he likes your team's logo.
You can ignore it, hate it, not embrace it, whatever. It's your call. All I'm saying is the kids entering college and pro ball are growing up with it. It's your call if you want to connect with them on that level or not. I just have a feeling it's a bad idea to omit it.
