Has any of my AA followers ever successfully traced their ancestry all the way back to when they first arrived in the US through slavery? I hired a genealogist for my moms side of the family a few months ago and it’s been a long process

we were told that rarely are they ever able to go “that far” back because obviously it would require a lot of hours of work and rarely are things documented that much but I’m curious if anyone has ever done it and what it required or if you worked with someone specifically

On my own I’ve only been able to trace family members back to the 1830’s, and I’ve done DNA testing too. But I want names! Countries of origin, etc
