People crap on police so much for their failures. They interacted with the public 375,000,000 times last year. THREE HUNDRED, SEVENTY FIVE MILLION. ALL deaths justified or not last year? 1,004. That comes out to a percentage of 0.00000268. ANY profession would LOVE that rate.
No, cops shouldn’t unjustifiably kill anyone, but to pretend like they’re all out there just mowing people down is insanity.
Yes, cops should be held to a higher standard. They shouldn’t be held to an impossible one. 1% failure would be acceptable in virtually any profession. WITH justified killings, they were at 0.00000268% last year. Stop listening to the media.
