Capitalism without advancement of goals results in destruction.

The push to evolve tech with no use for said technology except to ease human life as it currently is leads to decay.

We need a new space race & new goals or we will dedicate tech advancement to our own destruction.

As technology grows but humanity regresses, we will ultimately end up creating 5000 ways to scratch our buttocks and let our neighbors smell and see it.

This is the paradox of technological advancement.

Technology can not outpace its own users.

This feeds back into my earlier points of the prior generations creating a loop in which progressivism moves us towards a regressive future.

We have to have need for advancement, but human growth of future generations has been ultimately stunted.

My fear, however, is that this path to advancement will be war.

I hope that I am wrong on this. Historically however, war has always preceded these tipping points that we find ourselves in.

Either because of vulnerability or necessity.
