Bukayo Saka is set to snub interest from Manchester United and Liverpool and sign a new long-term contract at Arsenal. (Express)

Exclusive: Mesut Özil is determined to see out the final year of his Arsenal contract, club keen to sell/loan to raise funds & offload £350k wage. Arteta open to using him, relationship between head coach and player remains professional. ( @JamesOlley)

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal would be prepared to subsidise part of his salary to help interested clubs - Fenerbahce were among several sides monitoring the situation last summer - but Özil is settled in London & will not agitate for a move. ( @JamesOlley)

Arsenal will exercise their option and sign Pablo Mari permanently. Flamengo already have received 5 million Euros for the loan. In total, the transaction can reach upto 16 million Euros with bonuses. ( @ColunadoFla)

The breakdown of Pablo Mari's permanent transfer to Arsenal:

- Paid €5 million in January
- Will pay €3 million now.
- Will pay a further €1 million for every 10 games he plays. Up to the limit of €8 million.

Lille manager Christophe Galtier has confirmed that Victor Osimhen will be leave the club when the transfer window opens. Arsenal are interested in signing the Nigerian striker and have been linked with him heavily in recent weeks. ( @MailSport)

Pape Gueye’s representatives have confirmed that Arsenal have made an offer to sign the out-of-contract-midfielder after a proposed move to Watford fell through. ( @GFFN)

Clubs could be granted an exemption in 'exceptional circumstances' which could see William Saliba play for Arsenal at some point this season. ( @MirrorSport)

Arteta: “What we do today or in the next five weeks will have a big impact on what we have to do in the summer. We have to put a plan to improve our squad, that’s first, fulfil the ambitions that we have, have the right players to support the talented young players that we have.”
