We must support those amongst us who are healing & working through the trauma & after affects.

Below are a list of organisations & charities helping sexual abuse survivors. Please share & do your own research on the listed services to ensure it best suits your particular needs.
@XiishodHealth is a Somali-Led initiative that focuses on awareness around Mental Health. They have volunteers who are Clinical Psychologists, CBT Therapists & Mental Health Practitioners who offer free 1 to 1 support & online conversation clubs for marginalised women globally.
Nafsiyat offers short-term intercultural therapy. They take referral clients living in Islington, Enfield, Camden & Haringey for free & self-referral clients from any London borough but fees are charged. They provide therapy in over 20 languages. https://www.nafsiyat.org.uk/ 
Muslim Women’s Network Helpline UK offer support, guidance & referrals to Muslim women & girls from diverse ethnic/faith backgrounds who are suffering from or at risk of abuse - https://www.mwnhelpline.co.uk/ 
Mindworks is based in South London. They are open to private referrals & now have over 14 counsellors working with access to over 6 languages, including Somali. They work closely with women who have suffered or going through domestic & sexual abuse.

If you are unsure about reporting sexual assault to the police - please refer to Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs) - google your local one. They can store forensic examination results until you decide whether you want to report to the police or not...CONT
@VictimSupport offer free and confidential support through their national phone line and live chat. They have online resources containing interactive guides.

For adult survivors of child abuse, @havoca_org is run by survivors who provide support, friendship & advice. There is lots of useful information on their website from support groups, reading materials to support finding therapists. https://www.havoca.org/ 
@WeareOneinFour offer a free telephone service from June to August 2020. Administrators will link you to trauma -informed counsellors for up to 30minute long sessions. http://oneinfour.org.uk 
@MankindCharity offer individual counselling, psycho-education courses helping participants develop tools to help manage the impact of trauma on their own lives & progress groups supporting men who have been sexually abused at any time in their lives. http://mkcharity.org 
@MosacUk support non-abusing parents & carers whose children have been sexually abused. They offer a helpline, counselling services, training on understanding child sexual abuse, workshops for parents & play therapy for children who have been sexually abused.
Another Somali led initiative is @Hadal_Talk - They aim to eliminate the stigmas & taboos around mental health and will be holding a webinar this Sunday 21st June 2020.
