KANYE WEST’S DISCOGRPHY RANKING AND RATINGS: A THREAD
12. Jesus Is King - 5/10

Favorite Track - Use This Gospel

While I appreciate this album as a Christian, it falls short of being a great Christian/Gospel album and instead comes across as a Christian Yandhi remix. Still features great production throughout and some quality songs
11. Cruel Summer - 6/10

While this album features some great songs, it is just a compilation after all. The majority of GOOD music perform well on this tape, and it is an enjoyable listen.
10. Yeezus - 6.5/10

Favorite Track - Blood On The Leaves

This album features Kanye’s most experimental production, and he delivers on many of the tracks. However, not all the tracks here feel necessary and imo this album would’ve been significantly better if it had been trimmed
9. Ye - 7.5/10

Favorite Track - Ghost Town

A concise and personal album that, even with its short runtime, leaves you satisfied. The highs on this album can compete with any Kanye album, and
8. Watch The Throne - 8/10

Favorite Track - Otis

One of my favorite collab albums. Kanye and Jay perform well across this album, trading great verses back and forth throughout. The album features top tier production and great tracks throughout.
7. Kids See Ghosts - 8.5/10

Favorite Track - Reborn

A great, concise album speaking on mental health. Kanye’s production is great throughout, as well as his verses. Cudi performs just as well as this duo shows just how much chemistry they have together.
6. The Life of Pablo - 8.5/10

Favorite Track - Ultralight Beam

This album is Kanye’s best solo work since MBDTF. This is one of those rare albums that feature a very long runtime, but doesn’t overstay its welcome. Something that isn’t pulled off much nowadays, but Kanye nails.
5. 808’s & Heartbreaks - 9/10

Favorite Track - Welcome To Heartbreak

This album has directly influenced the hip hop landscape today as we know it. This is Kanye’s most personal album, as he dealt with the the guilt from the death of his mother, and his breakup with his fiancé
4. Graduation- 9/10

Favorite Track - I Wonder

Graduation is the triumphant 3rd part of the dropout trilogy. Kanye is at the top of the game on this record as we are introduced to braggadocios Kanye. Graduation features great production and there’s only 2 misses on the record.
3. Late Registration - 9.5/10

Favorite Track - Hey Mama

The second installment of the Dropout trilogy, features Kanye’s trademark soulful production, but elevated further from The College Dropout thanks to Jon Brion’s assistance. This album features some of Kanye’s best music.
2. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - 10/10

Favorite Track - Runaway

MBDTF is Kanye West’s magnum opus. Kanye’s triumphant return to the spotlight following criticism for the VMA incident. This album features big, grand production, and some of Kanye’s best cuts. Amazing album
1. The College Dropout - 10/10

Favorite Track - Through The Wire

Kanye’s debut album, and my personal favorite. There is not a single miss on the album. Kanye’s ability to flip and morph samples into what he wants is truly amazing, and he proves he is much more than a producer.
MY RATINGS SCALE:

0-3 is a bad album

4-5 is a mid album

6 is a good album

7 is a very good album

8-9 is a great album

10 is a perfect album
