Jota clearly underperforming on his expected goals per 90 suggesting his finishing has been poor this season. However this definitely gives room for Jota to improve on this which he could do with favourable fixtures.

DCL has a very similar xg per 90 as goals per 90 suggesting if he gets enough good chance he should score one.Getting a goal 2 out of 3 games is a very good record and if he kept up this g/90 he would get 6 goals in the final 9, probably not bettered by many players.

If we look at Jota in the europa league he has netted 9 in 12. With the europa league being postponed Jota could potentially bring this goal scoring record to the League and pick up his goals per 90.

DCL seems a better captaincy option with 11/22 matches getting at least 5 points. Jota blanks too much to be a reliable captain pick blanking over 75% of the time but has hauled on occasions so could be a riskier but more rewarding option.

-DCL a lot more consistent however Jota has just as many “hauls”
-Jota underperforming based on xg whilst DCL matching.
In my opinion DCL is the better option as he always seems to be in amongst the goals.

However wolves are pushing for European spots and jota is a major part of their attack.
With the europa league being suspended Jota could be more clinical in the league and up his goal ratio. Everton dont have a lot to play for being safe from relegation but no where near europe

DCL has been on fire since Ancelotti took over has been amongst the best in the league. Should this continue post lockdown he would be a sensational pick for his price!
