On / around March 12th of this year you entered into a period of majority home isolation. I've personally felt this was great leadership, by example.

I ask you now to reflect upon this time & consider how you would accomplish this on #ODSP 1/25

I have taken the liberty of writing out a scenario for you.
You are on the $1,971 Double Disabled rate.

Its just you and your wife. You live at the apartment building on 80 Rideau Terrace. (very near where you live now)

They rent a one bedroom at $1369 per month. 2/25

The avg hydro in ontario is $125 month
Because you & ur wife in this scenario are both
disabled you both need a phone in case of an emergency.
Low cost cell phone plans are $45, lets assume you got a family plan from @FreedomMobile where a 2nd line is $15 so $65 after tax 3/25

Although its hard to say exactly what the avg for personal hygiene costs are we can make some reasonable assumptions for their costs for two people.
(Shampoo, deodorant, tooth paste, toilet paper, menstrual supplies, hair removal ) I feel $50 is possible with no perks

Are you planning on having any kids in this scenario ?
still undecided ? ok, well that means your gonna need condoms. - you don't exactly want a "value brand" when it comes to that am I right ? lol $13 5/25

Does she get the cramps and headaches that come with her 28 day friend ? - even used sparingly Midol for cramps and headaches is pretty pricey.. but she makes a small bottle last so $5 per month.

Surface cleaner, floor cleaner, windows (windex !!) and dish soap.. obviously you wouldn't be using entire containers each month (well maybe the dish soap) so $15 is reasonable in non covid times.. just gotta hope it doesn't all run out in the same month. now, what to do ? 7/25

now.. and there are two of you.
you watch everything on your phones cause you can't afford a tv. (though sometimes you'll watch together on that $100 used laptop you found on Kijiji) 8/25

(you can't even save on drying because most apartment buildings have banned clothes lines)

accessibility is an issue.

sure you could get onto the bus in your wheelchair,
but the exit point outside your doctor's office, the sidewalks are pretty banged up so you need your wife to help you get down safely.

but lets go budget, ya wanna eat right ?

so $14 total on bus, 1 doctor trip each per month is $28.
