I had to detach from belieiving I was better than other dudes just cause I reached the realization of a patriarchal presence. that’s just step 1 then it’s a lifelong battle. a lifelong unraveling. the women in my life still be checking me lol it’s about showing you understand
this is why i’m not at all impressed by a white person proclaiming “i’ve unlearned racism!” like naw. w the right circumstances yo ass would still kill me. what are you practicing every day & involving yourself in to make sure you knowledge & control over that force inside you?
