One of the counter-protestors was escorted away by police after he appeared to be instigating people at the Juneteenth rally. He shouted “All Lives Matter,” among other things. He was met with “Black Lives Matter” chants as he walked off. @boston25
People at the rally, which remained peaceful, advocated for liberation from mass incarceration, over policing, and state-sanctioned violence. Many calls for defunding the police. The event had symbolic artwork like this on display as well. @boston25
