I spent decades on BR forum where I found that Indians have a deep fear of China. I was wrong in thinking that we are getting over it. No. We are so shit scared of China that people would rather curse the PM and army and howl rather than think clearly. China will use this.
IMO 90% of the fear is misinformation. But informing 1.2 billion ain't easy when they feel comfort in fear and prepare for defeat. This is a sort of irrational fear that a child may have because we are taught to see ourselves as lesser and weaker.
Even pointing this out to people causes anger and indignation. No one wants to be told that he is wrong in being absolutely terrified of monster China
Psychologically one gets accustomed to indoctrination as a child. We are told everywhere by everyone from our childhood that China kicked our asses and is far better than us so show humility, bow your head and respect China. Anyone who disagrees with that is the real threat
One reason why people like Ajai Shukla post openly fake news about India being kicked is because they know well that in war our forces will give it back to the Chinese. That is the problem. There may not be war - but the government, RSS, Modi sanghis have to be brought down
If real war occurs political attacks by Shukla and others will reduce but anything less than positive after the war will be used to try and bring about political change in India. The fact that fake news is allowed is FoE and press freedom
Shukla and other fake news peddlers will aggravate fears of China knowing that in conflict Modi will not be carrying club or gun. After the war Modi will be blamed for not carrying club or gun - no matter what the outcome of conflict. This is a political game
If there is war there will be deaths and injuries even if we win. Blame Modi, RSS and RW for that. If we suffer setbacks - blame Modi, RSS, RW.

Heads Lutyen/libtard win, tails their opponents lose lose. catch 22
Fear of China must be aggravated for political gains and the very real fear of China and complete fear of looking at Chinese weaknesses and asking only about Indian weaknesses is part of that.
It takes real effort to get over innate fear of China and examine where they are weak. Most people and almost no one in he media do that.
Vets and forces people are bold by definition. They don't show fear but even many of them do not know fully where China is weak. Military awareness of things is always compartmentalized on a need to know basis
