POTUS often mentioned Lincoln at his rallies, something I have given much thought to.

Just as in child birth the pain is intense, the wait seems intolerable at times, and the expectations are extreme.
But the result is priceless.

I feel we are going thru labor pains, and even tho the images of riots and chaos are disturbing, they are part of the process.
Will everyone make it through these times of uncertainty? I honestly do not know.

But I do know God gave us freewill, so ultimately the choice is ours.
Just as in childbirth you can not skip the labor pains, we must be witness and remember. We are the story tellers that will help to shape the emerging world we are about to see.

We can take only the ugly and pass that on or we can take the incredible spirit of our nation and pass that on.
