They are perfectly comfortable with writing off "red and blue" traditional working-class voters in industrial/agricultural areas.
Metropolitan city-based leftists, with their contemptuous attitude towards working-class voters with socially conservative views, provide bundles of "cultural ammunition" for political leaders such as Boris Johnson, Donald Trump, and Scott Morrison.

Then they moan about losses.
