#THREAD about OvO -- the Italian metal band we released this February -- and why the internet is the best.
This week, OvO woke up to find hundreds of messages in their Facebook inbox, and a 6,000% increase in Facebook engagement. 
It seems that Indonesian e-payment app @ovo_id and its amazing customers is getting confused with OvO.
OvO is a metal band, an industrial band, and a doom band. From Italy.

One of OvO's Facebook posts about the issue has received over 5,000 likes and hundreds of comments, mostly from happy (and a bit troll-y!) Indonesian app customers.
The app even wrote "Bukan band metal Itali" -- Not an Italian Metal band -- on its Twitter profile...
...and offered to be friends with the band

And OvO's streams have spiked.
With all the turmoil in the world, this really put a smile on our faces, and it brought us closer in a fun way.
