To be clear? This agenda features the initial steps needed for creating equitable communities across America, but is neither exhaustive nor absolute. The agenda addresses the following needs: workforce, wealth building, policing & the law, housing, education, health & food.
We must prepare all people for a global economy, regardless of their access to or choices about post-secondary education.
We must find innovative ways to make financial independence & self sufficiency a reality for all.
Policing must change according to the desires and needs of communities.
Shelters, tent wncampmenrs, and hotels rarely give dignity for folks who are experiencing homelessness.
An equitable educational system ensures that all students receive the education that they need, regardless of race, family income, etc.
The quality of your healthcare should not be predicated upon where you eat, sleep, learn, earn, and pray.
All people deserve access to fresh and healthy food. Commitments to building accessible and affordable grocery stores need to be made. Before and during the construction process, here are some possibilities for ensuring that access.
If I can help you push for this in your community, please let me know. Be safe out there. [End]
