My son has been super into this show all week. In the finale Benson gets a peck on the cheek from his love interest. They both blush and discuss a date.
My son said, " Oh....I didn't know boys could do that with other boys."
I worried for a second that I needed to explain.

But I really didn't need to, at all. I just said, "yeah buddy, people can choose who they like or don't like."

That was it. He knows at 7 that people can be who they want to be and love who they want to love without a fuss or judgement from me.

Hopefully he remembers as he gets older and if he finds himself attracted to a boy, or anyone else, mom is going to invite that person over for Thanksgiving because there is nothing to be ashamed of.
