Sometimes I see ladies post tweets that are like:
Don’t you hate it when guys do (some dick head thing)
And I’m like “Hey I don’t do that thing!” And the temptation to comment “Hey I don’t do that thing!” Begins
But the past couple of weeks has taught me something.

The ladies posting those tweets don’t give a fuck if I do or don’t do that thing, the tweet isn’t about me it’s them letting off steam.
I’m adding zero to the conversation I’m just being like “Hey I’m one of the good ones!” Which isn’t what “the good ones” do, yknow.

Kinda figured this out by my threads on race drawing in some “I’m one of the good ones” comments. It’s exhausting and low key kinda annoying, like you don’t get a medal for being a decent person.

Sorry this was just like a lightning strike moment where I’m like OH I GET IT! I’ve always tried to avoid the “Hey I’m one of the good ones!” Comments but if I did do it my absolute apologies that’s a real dick move.
