John Bolton's book confirms what we already know — Trump's in office for himself, he's caved to China, and he'd rather appeal to foreign authoritarians than the American people.

Exhibit A: He told Xi that throwing Uyghurs in concentration camps was “the right thing to do.”

Exhibit B: Trump risked our national security to grant personal favors to Xi by reversing sanctions on Chinese companies put in place for selling tech to Iran and North Korea.

Sure sounds like China first to us.

Exhibit C: Rather than stand up to China and its authoritarian rule, Trump came to an agreement with Xi that it would be best for both of them if he could emulate it and serve as president for more than two terms.
